This article analyzes current knowledge about eccrine poroma and poromatosis. It examines the clinical features, describes the factors most often triggering their development, provides detailed information regarding differential diagnosis, and presents current understanding of the dermatoscopic signs characteristic of eccrine poroma. The authors present their own clinical observation of multiple eccrine poromas in the shins of a 49-year-old female patient. This poroma developed in the setting of systemic lupus erythematosus and the use of cyclophosphamide for the treatment of lupus nephritis.
