Diseases of the liver and biliary system are the topical issues for modern medicine and occupy a significant place in the structure of diseases of the digestive tract. The general principles of drug therapy of hepatobiliary system pathology based on the correction of gall bladder and sphincter apparatus function, hepatic fibrosis and injury reduction. The use of Silybum marianum flavonoids in the treatment of hepatobiliary system pathology is proved. The results of study of Hepabene (fumitory extract + Silybum marianum fruit extract) efficacy for hepatobiliary disorders are presented.
