Hypertensive encephalopathy: problems of diagnostics and treatment
We consider the causes and pathogenesis of hypertensive encephalopathy, the factors affecting its occurrence. We discuss approaches to prevent hypertensive encephalopathy. It is emphasized that the prevention of brain structures lesions with hypertension should not only include control of blood pressure, but additional treatment aimed to cerebral blood flow and brain metabolism improvement. The paper discusses availability for this purpose Meksidol graded to a group antihypoxants with nootropic and anxiolytic properties.
