Dynamics of the facial nerve function restoration in patients with acute cerebrocranial trauma
Comparative study including 60 patients with traumatic facial nerve dysfunction (FN) of varying severity assessed the frequency and characteristics of traumatic lesions of the FN as well as the effectiveness of conservative treatment with ipidakrin (Aksamon). The results showed that the most common FN lesion found in the diagonal type petrosal bone fracture, the ipidakrin administration in the multidrug regimen of complex treatment of such patients is accompanied by a significantly more frequent FN function restoration.and allows to reduce the dysfunction severity at 3-5-th day of the disease.
